If I had to start my business again...

I would follow the

Feng Shui principles

Many people would give you a full list of steps to do when thinking of starting a business.

Some of the things would be: making a business plan, knowing your competition, researching your industry, designing your products, organising your financial accounts and setting up a physical office space.

It is true. You have to go through all these steps and even more.

But, the hardest part about opening a business is creating the proper environment and a positive vibe. I have found that doing all of the above along with working hard was not enough. There are so many things that we cannot control in our life, like the date we were born in, or the parents. But there are so many other things that we can adjust and change to work for us.

You can do this with Feng Shui and Numerology. This ancient Chinese system of rules, concepts and principles can change the future of your business considerably. Feng Shui is not a fashion is a proven way of improving your health, love life, relationship with people, career and business success.

The top five things I would suggest you to do before opening a business are:

  • Choose a business that is right for you.
  • Make sure that the field and industry are compatible with your energies. Your friend's fashion design business is successful and you think you can do it too because you are good at drawing and you have an eye for fashion? It may not be the case. Make sure that you have chosen the right period in your life to do this. It could be the case that this idea will be more successful and profitable if you would open it in 2-3 years from now.
  • Choose the right business name.
  • Make sure it is distinctive and reflects the purpose of the business. Apply the principles of name numerology and you will know if the business will suit you. You don't want to pay again for changing the business name, domain name, website and marketing material.
  • Allocate a proper location for business.
  • I always wondered why a business is more successful than a similar one on the same street. After much reading and learning, I have realized how important it is to have the business store/office located in a spot with the most positive vibe. For example, look for a busy location and a property with many windows facing a nice view. Make sure is on the right side of the street depending on the type of business you have. It makes a big difference. Dr. Edward Tsang says " the south, north, east and west sides are only good for business from the morning till about 5.00 p.m. in the afternoon while the North West side is suitable for business between twilight and the midnight hours, the later the better." make sure that the business is not located on a dead end street, or facing a cemetery or a train, ... I will post another article with few of the tips I have collected after an elaborated research.
  • Design and decorate your office and store following the Feng Shui principles.
  • Set the work areas, choose the right colors, arrange the furniture in the proper way, decorate with plants, candles and make sure there is lots of natural light. I suggest you read and learn about Feng Shui principles and redesigns. You will see the difference.
  • Last but not least is having a positive attitude.
  • Positive thinking will attract luck.
I wish someone told me about all these steps before starting my business. I would have saved money and so many months of struggle and frustration.

Keep Positive Thoughts!
