Gifts with love

The most popular gifts people give are flowers, chocolate boxes and mass produced gift baskets. There are a whole lot of choices of unique and edible gift ideas.

Everyone loves to eat!

If you know your loved one’s favorite food or fruit, consider 50% of the job of finding the perfect gift done. The other 50% is finding the gift to match your requirements and price range.

Giving edible gifts may seem a simple gesture but nonetheless full of thoughtful consideration that your receiver will greatly appreciate. And if the gift is a food gift, then everyone can also have a happy tummy too.

When searching for an edible gift, you should look for the followings:

  • What ingredients are used? Make sure it doesn’t contain any food allergy ingredients or anything that’s not recommended for his/her diet, illnesses and so on, for example dairy, gluten, white sugar, nuts ...
  • Is it freshly made or a shelf product?
  • Is it a unique product or a mass produced one?
  • Does it have any additives or preservatives added to extend its shelf life?
  • Can it be personalized? Can you add or remove some of the ingredients, or change the size, the design..
  • Are there any extra fees like wrapping, card message, handling or shipping fees? Some companies charge for extra chocolate on the strawberries, or for wrapping the product, for a personalized message on the gift card, for the container, for handling and many more.
  • How healthy is the product? If you were to choose between a cookies bouquet made with refined sugar and margarine, and a fresh fruit arrangement or dairy/gluten free cake, what would you choose?
  • Is it a local company? Try to buy local to grow the economy in your area.
  • Is it an Eco-friendly company? Look also for organic, natural ingredients and no animal testing products.
There’s so much time and effort in finding the perfect gift for that special someone. These simple guidelines will make you accomplish your goal.

Good luck.
